Re: DPA 2012

To say I was surprised to receive the 2012 Distinguished Perfusionist Award from The Pennsylvania State Perfusion Society is an understatement that defies comparison.  I thank you, Carmen, and The Board and the Society in general.  I have a stack of stuff “Awarded” for this or that over the years tucked into a file cabinet drawer.  This one, however, is hanging in my Library, my favorite room to be in and to show people.

I posted a public “Thank You” on Facebook (with photo) and on Perflist.  “Mum” is definitely not the word in this case.

As I keep saying, I may not deserve this, but I am not giving it back.
